About us
The Lane Family Pet Centre LTD, Trading as Luc Van Dijck Veterinary Centre, is possibly the longest established Veterinary surgery in Wigan. We are a fully independent veterinary surgery and pride ourselves on our friendly, family atmosphere.
Our practice is led by Luc Van Dijck, who graduated from the State University of Ghent, Belgium, in 1991. While Dr Luc has a diverse skill set, he has a special interest in small animal soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. He also dedicates a lot of his time to studying and applying endoscopic (keyhole) diagnostic and surgical techniques.
Together, we are a team of talented and experienced veterinarians, nurses, and customer service team members who work collaboratively.

About this role
We are preferably looking for someone to work three or four days a week from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, including Monday, Wednesday, Friday and one weekend in four. We also run our own 24-hour emergency call, but being part of this would be fully optional.
Duties include Consultations, general Surgery, Diagnostics, and X-rays. We offer Laparoscopic Surgeries and have our own in-house laboratory where our nurses can run blood tests and urine samples. Luc will be on hand for advice and guidance.
We hold both Consultations and Surgeries every day, and no two days are the same.
