About us
Our practice is well equipped with digital X-ray and ultrasonography, latest in-house laboratory and dental equipment, separate theatre, lab and x-ray suites and separate dog, cat and isolation wards. We are Feline friendly and ISFM registered.

About this role
YourVets Dagenham are currently on the lookout for a Head Small Animal Vet to join our growing, motivated team!
As our Head Vet you will have a say in how we continue to grow and develop as a practice. By liaising with the Practice Manager, Head Nurse, and Practice Director, you will have the opportunity to decide what our practice priorities are, and to ensure that these priorities are carried out on a daily basis within our clinical team.
Additionally, you will be responsible for line-managing the veterinary team (performing check-ins, helping with competency and salary review), and writing the vets’ rota (liaising with the PM). People leadership is important to us, to help empower our team!
This is a full time position working 40 hours per week with 1:3 Saturdays. No OOH. Learning and teaching are important to us and career progression is actively supported and encouraged!
About you
As we are a busy practice, you are encouraged to work up your own cases, and to build client and patient relationships by providing excellent levels of care and communication.
Our location
Our RCVS accredited practice in Dagenham is within close proximity to central London and Essex. We are also a short drive from Southend and all London Airports for those that have a passion for travel. We are also on a journey to becoming a hospital site, so this is the perfect role for a vet looking to grow their career and ability.
