About us
We sit at an enviable intersection: ten minutes by tram from the energy of Manchester city centre, with the Peak District rolling out from the doorstep. Across four well-equipped sites, we’ve built something that goes well beyond a multi-site group. We’re a team that has earned its reputation through consistent, measurable outcomes, including an Outstanding rating from the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme in both Team and Professional Responsibility and Client Service. That recognition didn’t come from a document. It came from the way our people actually show up for each other and for their patients.
We hold Fear Free Clinic accreditation and Dogs Trust Dog Friendly Clinic status, and we’re actively working toward Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation across all four sites. Our ongoing partnership with the Dogs Trust in Denton reflects a genuine commitment to community and welfare that runs through everything we do. As part of the VetPartners network, we carry the resources of a larger organisation alongside the culture of a team that looks after its own.
Staff retention is something we take seriously, and deliberately. We invest in our people and our equipment because we believe the two are inseparable.
Tameside veterinary clinic staff have always been very professional friendly and caring. The wait time in the clinic is very good which helps reduce stress for your pet. They also don’t suggest unnecessary treatment just to make money. I would recommend this clinic – Debbie A – Google Review
About this role
You’ll be stepping into a team of 11 vets with real breadth of clinical interest and capability. Certificate holders in dentistry and medicine work alongside colleagues pursuing certifications in imaging and dermatology, and a visiting orthopaedic surgeon ensures the caseload stays varied and genuinely stimulating. This is a practice where you’ll have room to grow your own clinical interests, with the professional infrastructure to support you.
Day to day, you’ll be managing a diverse GP caseload across our sites, with skilled nursing support that lets you focus on what matters most: good medicine and great patient outcomes.
- Routine and complex GP case management across a multi-site environment
- Surgical and medical workup with access to in-house diagnostic capability
- Collaborative case discussions with certificate holders and visiting specialists
- Active contribution to a culture of continuous learning and clinical development
The schedule is designed with your sustainability in mind: a four-day working week, a shared Saturday rota, and no out-of-hours, no Sundays, and no bank holiday commitments.
