About this role

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who wants meaningful clinical responsibility within a genuinely supportive first opinion team. The practice is ideally looking for around 20 hours each week, creating room for a sustainable working pattern without stepping away from a varied caseload.

You will have the autonomy to lead surgical and medical cases, carry out diagnostic investigations and contribute to the clinical standards of the practice. Colleagues share cases and expertise, so you can make confident decisions while still having experienced people around you for discussion and support.

There is no out-of-hours or bank holiday commitment. The Saturday rota is just one morning in six, from 9am to 1pm.

Our location

Joel Veterinary Centre is based in a converted farm building in Pinner, with on-site parking and Northwood Hills Underground Station approximately ten minutes away. Direct Tube connections make central London readily accessible, while the local setting offers a more relaxed base away from the centre of the city.

The practice sits on Joel Street in the Pinner and Eastcote area, with everyday amenities and transport connections close by.

The salary is up to £60,000 FTE, depending on experience, for a permanent part-time position ideally based around 20 hours per week.
