About us
Anderson Abercromby Veterinary Referrals is located in a newly refurbished building in a beautiful rural setting with excellent facilities (3 operating theatres and on-site CT). We are very well equipped to deal with the full range of orthopaedic procedures (THR, TPLO, CUE, arthroscopy, etc).
We have had such a brilliant experience from the first phone call, right through to post surgery. A wonderful practice, in a beautiful setting. About this role
We have a strong team ethos, and this exciting opportunity will require the candidate to:
- Have enthusiasm and be passionate about orthopaedic surgery
- Be hardworking, motivated, and committed to high standards
- Have excellent communication skills with both referring vets and clients
- Contribute fully to an equal share of the out of hours rota, which is not onerous, and we do not operate out of hours
About you
Applicants must hold a veterinary qualification recognised by the RCVS that allows you to practise within the UK. The position should be particularly attractive to individuals who are RCVS Specialists in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) or that have achieved the RCVS/ECVS/ACVS diploma examinations.

It is only 31 miles from London with easy road links and accessible by a frequent rail service in under an hour. The beautiful South Coast is also within easy reach, with the vibrant city of Brighton only 24 miles away.
Our offer
- Salary – open to conversation/dependent on experience (pro rata for part time)
- Full-time/Part time – we would be especially interested in candidates looking for part time (2/3 days per week)
